Aulnoye - Communal Cemetery

For much of the First World War, the communal cemetery at Aulnoye was used by the Germans for the burial of their own dead as well as Italian, Commonwealth, French and Russian prioners of war. Further burials were carried out by the 5th Dorsets in November 1918. The cemetery contains 44 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, one of which is unidentified, and four German war graves.
